Confusion As Explosion Rocks Ibadan (DETAILS)

An unspecified number of people sustained injuries due to a suspected explosion in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

It was reported that over 20 houses were destroyed in the explosion at Bodija Housing Estate. Injured individuals have been promptly taken to the hospital, as confirmed by a source.

Mr. Bode, an eyewitness who visited the area shortly after the incident, recounted that more than 20 houses were significantly impacted.

The street where the explosion happened is currently cordoned off by security agents. The situation is under investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
