The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said on Wednesday that it had released 1,606,901 results out of the 1,718,425 that registered in the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). JAMB Denies Releasing Cut-Off Marks For 2017 UTME Speaking at a news conference in Abuja, the JAMB registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, said the results were released within 24 hours of the examination, adding that the remaining 80,889 candidates results would be released soon. He said it was also a deliberate act by the board to withhold about 76,925 results due to some alleged malpractices in some of the Computer Based Centres (CBT) where exams were held. ’Femi Asu A former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Odein Ajumogobia, has expressed opposition to the Federal Government’s proposed sale of its stakes in some oil and gas assets. The government had in its Economic Recovery and Growth Plan disclosed that it would reduce its stakes in joint venture oil assets, refineries and other downstream subsidiaries such as pipelines and depots.
