A Second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a mistake. In an interview with us, Mohammed insisted that Nigerians made a mistake by voting Buhari. He added that electing Abubakar would be another mistake. Mohammed made the remark while rubbishing claims that the chances in 2019 narrows down to Buhari and Abubakar. Unidentified gunmen in Plateau State on Sunday attacked and killed four persons in Nding community of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of the state. DSP Terna Tyopev, the Police Public Relations Officers (PPRO) in the state police command confirmed the incident to the News of Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Jos. Mohammed said this while reacting to a comment credited to Saraki’s aide. A student was swept to his death after falling into a river while taking a selfie. The young man, identified locally as Rohon Mishra, fell into a waterfall located at a popular picnic spot in India’s Odisha state. Bystanders ran down to the water’s edge to try and help him but could only watch on in horror as he splashed in the water. A 31-year-old woman, Stellamaris Ebhohimen, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing products valued at N4.2m, which belong to the company she works for. The beautiful woman works as a Loss Prevention Officer at Hubmart Stores Limited in Lagos. How was she caught? It was alleged that Ebhohimen and another staff member from the loss prevention section were seen on a closed-circuit television footage stealing goods from the shelves. Following the fire outbreak at a petrol station along Nike Lake road by Penoks Junction, Trans Ekulu, Enugu, on Monday, residents of the area have commended the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the swift intervention and expertise displayed by officers and men of Enugu State Fire Service in putting out the fire, without any loss of life. The inferno according to eye witnesses was caused by a truck discharging liquefied gas at the filling station, which lost control and hit the dispensing nozzle and ignited the fire.
