Nollywood actor,Yomi Fash-Lansohas in a recent interview with Saturday Beats, called out Nigerian pastors, questioning their need for arms as a form of protection. According to the actor, if they are so-called men of God – who are to be harmless – as they proclaim, then why do they need arms for protection if they aren’t going to harm anyone. The actor is quoted in the interview as saying: “Our pastors go about with armed personnel and I ask myself a question, who wants to kill or kidnap a pastor? Is he not a man of God? Prophet Madungwe, a Zimbabwean man of God, has shocked his compatriots with the claim that he is God’s special adviser and meets with the almighty on a regular basis to make decisions on how the world should be governed. According to iHarare, the controversial prophet also told his congregation that he is God’s number four after Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit because he is the most righteous person in his country where only 60 people will go to heaven. There was pandamonium at a burial ceremony held in a town in Nnewi South L.G.A, Anambra State, on June 23rd after it was violently interrupted over several unresolved issues, by the deceased’s husband who was popularly known as “Who Know Man“. A housewife, Adenike Oladejo, has approached an Idi-Ogungun Customary Court, Agodi Ibadan, seeking dissolution of her nine years marriage to her husband, Samuel Oladejo, over his refusal to attend Church with her.
