A homeless man who went viral last year after he gave a stranded woman his last $20, is now suing the woman and her husband after they raised money to help him. Last year, Johnny Bobbitt gave his last $20 to Kate McClure when her car ran out of petrol. Kate shared the news online and Johnny went viral. Subsequently, Kate and her husband, Mark D’Amico started an online fundraiser for him, which drew contributions from over 14,000 donors. The US couple raised more than $400,000 to help Bobbitt. But the homeless man is now accusing them of using the donations as their own “piggy bank”. On Tuesday, Bobbitt, 35, filed a lawsuit alleging fraud and conspiracy. Also, the national leadership of the ruling party proposed N22.5 million for its governorship ticket. However, the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party has rejected the proposals, as the NWC was asked to go and review the proposition downward. As part of its resolve to fight crimes to its roots, the Delta State Police Command on Thursday arrested three suspected kidnappers who have been threatening top political personalities across the state, as well as high-profile pastors in Asaba and Ubulu-Uku communities in the state. The Police Commissioner in the state, Mustafa Muhammad, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects to journalists in Asaba, said the suspects, Ariaka James, Ibori Philips, and Ekene Paul were arrested in Asaba and Ubulu-Uku by anti-kidnapping police team who acted on intelligence gathering in the early hours during its routine duty. Chelsea star, Victor Moses has revealed that Ross Barkley has been the best player for the club in training so far this season. 24-year-old Barkley completed a £15million move to the Stamford Bridge in January but form and injuries meant the midfielder struggled for minutes under former Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte.
