Popular Ghanaian gospel singer Stella Aba Seal is of the opinion that men should be allowed to marry two wives to help curb adultery. Senator Smart Adeyemi, the APC candidate in the rerun of the Kogi West senatorial district election which held on Saturday, November 30th, has been declared winner by INEC. The Returning Officer of the election, Professor Olajide Lawal, announced this at the collation centre in Kogi State. According to Professor Lawal, Smart Adeyemi polled a total of 88,373 votes to beat Senator Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 62,133 votes. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the APC candidate as the winner of the keenly contested election two weeks after the people of the senatorial district went to the poll. Former Gunners midfielder Ljungberg was promoted from his coaching role after Emery was dismissed on Friday. “We feel he is the right person in the moment to take the club forward,” Kroenke told the Arsenal website. “We started to fall short of several goals that we set. We still feel we can achieve those goals this season.” Ex-Sweden international Ljungberg, 42, played for Arsenal from 1998-2007, winning two Premier League titles and three FA Cups with them. The federal government has directed that all unqualified teachers should be removed by December 31, 2019. The Registrar, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Olusegun Ajiboye, stated this while inducting over 200 Education graduates of the University of Ibadan. According to him, quacks teaching Nigerian children would be replaced by qualified and certificated Education graduates to mould sound future leaders for the country. The registrar noted that teachers must stand shoulder-to-shoulder with other professional groups in the knowledge-driven economy. While administering the Oath of Practice on the inductees, Professor Ajiboye reiterated that any teacher found wanting in the code of practice would be sanctioned.
