A 9-year-old girl, Lily Kryzhanivskyy who was gruesomely attacked by a cougar while she was playing outside in Washington, USA has woken up from a coma. Lily was playing hide and seek with her friends at a camp site near Fruitland, Washington when a cougar pounced on her, viciously attacking her and attempting to drag her into the woods. Her friends quickly rushed to find adults to help chase away the big cat. Lily’s mom Yelena Kryzhanivskyy told reporters; “They were playing hide and seek. She jumped out from her hiding spot to surprise a friend and a cougar jumped on her and attacked her.” The attacks happened around 11 a.m. in the morning, with the cougar going out in the open in broad daylight to pounce on the 9-year-old. Once help arrived, Lily was quickly transported to the hospital and put into the intensive care unit. A 20-year-old Nigerian man, Sele-ebi Ware-ebi has been killed by a suspected cultist. The victim was repeatedly stabbed for putting on red beret in Tuomo community of Delta State. According to Vanguard, Sele-ebi, a native of Torugbene, was killed on Friday as he visited Tuomo community both communities are in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. Vanguard gathered that the cultist was later tied with the corpse of the victim before being lynched by aggrieved mob of his community to prevent what could lead to communal crisis. According to a source, the cultist demanded N5,000 from Sele-ebi for putting on his cult’s coloured beret, failure of which the cultist brought out dagger and stabbed the man to death. The source added that the beret worn by the victim was meant for church activities before the cultist attacked him.
