The Ogun State police command has vowed to arrest the killers of the slain prospective female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Eunice Igweike, who was killed by unknown persons. NAIJALOADED learnt that Igweike had left Abia State for the Ogun NYSC Orientation Camp in Sagamu, but she got missing along the road. A brother of the deceased was said to have contacted the NYSC management on July 20 to report that her sister could not be reached. Consequent upon this, the NYSC had informed security agencies, whose efforts led to the discovery of Igweike’s lifeless body on July 21 along Sagamu-Imota road. The body, which the NYSC said is intact, has been deposited in the morgue. The Ogun police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said a case of murder was suspected because the graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, was found in a bush path. “The command has commenced investigation into the matter. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has condemned former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu’s attack on ex-vice president, Atiku Abubakar. The vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) told Tinubu that he isn’t the best politician in Nigeria. Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior, has stated that some security challenges bedevelling Nigeria can be solved if the financial lifeline of terrorists are cut off. The Lagos State Government has re-arraigned an on-air personality, Mr Uche Igwe, popularly known as Darksam, for allegedly sharing the sex tape video of a Chrisland School student on social media. Igwe, aged 40, was re-arraigned on Tuesday before a Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba area of Lagos on a fresh one-count charge. It was gathered that the accident, which occurred early in the morning involved a Mazda bus and a truck on the Iperu bridge, near Ogere in Ogun State.
