Haaland May Not Play For Man City Until End Of January – Guardiola (SEE REASON)

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, expressed his hope that Erling Haaland might return to play before January ends.

Guardiola mentioned after their 3-1 victory against Everton that Haaland is still recovering from a foot injury and isn’t ready to train with the team.

The 23-year-old has been absent from City’s last six games across various competitions due to this injury.

In Guardiola’s word;

“[Haaland] is training alone but he is not training with the team.”

“Kevin [De Bruyne] is training with the team, but Erling is not yet. It is a question of when the pain will disappear.”

“We hope he will be back in January, but a stress on the bone is so painful. He is not like a guy like Phil Foden with smaller skin. Erling is huge.”
