Please Provide Incentives For Investment In Nigeria – President Tinubu Urges U.S Government

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged the U.S. government to provide incentives for its investment in Nigeria.

Aguri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this on Saturday in a statement after a meeting between Tinubu and the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Ambassador Molly Phee.

Tinubu pledged to improve the enabling environment, including tax cuts for U.S. investments in Nigeria.

“…The U.S. Government must be innovative in its thinking and systematically create incentives for U.S. industrial investment in Nigeria”,

He said.

On his part, Ambassador Phee said,

“We know there is more we can do to incentivize large-scale American investment”.

The Islamic State terror group (ISIS) has released propaganda images featuring Zuckerberg in an orange jumpsuit and beheaded including the message “Go to hell Mark”. The group also claimed to have hacked Facebook. The poster includes the message “go to hell Mark”, and is part of a campaign dubbed #OpTheWorld. Sixgill, an online cybersecurity firm, revealed the threats to the Daily Star as ISIS appears to ramp up their hacking operations. A number of other websites have been targeted some successfully according to Sixgill. The so-called United Cyber Caliphate (UCC) recently came together as several pro-ISIS hacking groups. And their activities increased since May, reports from Sixgill say, with East Asian government websites forced offline by their efforts.
