Blackface Issues Stern Warning to Music Industry: “Stop Stealing My Songs”

Nigerian musician, Augustine Ahmedu, also known as Blackface, has taken a firm stand against song theft in the music industry. The former member of Plantashun Boiz has accused multiple artistes of stealing his songs in the past, including his ex-group mate, Tuface, and recent allegations against Afrobeats sensation Asake and Wizkid.

In an interview with The Punch, Blackface stated that from now on, he will be taking legal action instead of begging for credit for his songs. He emphasized that he wants people to stop touching his music without permission and wants the credit he deserves for his work.

Blackface also gave the accused a chance to retrace their steps before taking legal action. However, he warns that if they don’t take heed, he will instruct his lawyer to commence legal action. The singer hopes that this will improve the music industry and bring respect to the work of original artists.

In conclusion, Blackface’s message to the music industry is clear: stop stealing his songs and give credit where it’s due. The singer is determined to take a stand and make sure his rights as an artist are protected.

It is obvious that all Nigerian artists are stealing from Blackface the hit maker.
