While this year started slowly musically, it’s changed as tunes have started coming in form different artistes camps and of course.
What excites us the most are the collaborations particularly when two or more artists conjoin forces to create a hit.
But so far this year, Which collaboration have excited us so far?
At the Naijaloaded HQ we came up with Top 10 best collabos that was released in the first half of 2019;
Song are arranged in no particular orders..
Mr P and Niniola – One More Night
On the Daihard Beats, Mr P and Niniola found the perfect atmosphere to create a song that talks about sexual intentions.
It’s probably one of those sombre romantic tunes that settled in well.
No wonder it has racked up over 2million views just two months after its release.
Oladips and Mayorkun – Places
Oladips and Mayorkun share similarities as one of the raving youngsters in the music scene and Places came in at the right time, right tune and both didn’t disappoint.
On a fast tempo beat, Mayorkun supplied top notch quality verses and while Oladips delivery was somewhat weak, overall, it’s a hit.
Larry Gaaga and Wizkid – Low
Wizkid‘s first track of the year and the anticipation was huge as it was highly anticipated.
Continuing on that tempo Wizkid had on Fever, Wizkid jelled well with the Blaq Jerzee assisted tune.
Naira Marley and Zlatan – Am I A Yahoo Boy
Naira Marley generated an uproar on social media with his statements supporting Internet Fraud.
However, he was creative, turning the controversy into a song. With Zlatan with the right lamba, Naira Marley with his drowsy vocals, all settled well on the melodies made available by Rexxie.
A club jam that will last for the year.
Slimcase Ft. 2baba, Peruzzi, DJ Neptune & Larry Gaaga – Azaman
Azaman is Slimcase‘s first hit song and while he labored heavily last year to deliver an evergreen, club banging tune last year, he had to source for help from his industry friends.
2baba and Peruzzi didn’t disappoint on this and helped lift the weight on Slimcase allowing him to provide the correct Lamba.
Davido and Zlatan – Bum Bum
Before Davido disappeared on his musical sojourn to the States, he left us with a badass banger.
He enlisted Zlatan’s help on this and with the Zanku aligning instrumentals, the intermittent melodies, they both came through.
Zinoleesky Ft. Lil Frosh – Who Knows
Not a surprise “Who Knows” is on this list. The essentials are there, matching silky vocals to the beat from Zinoleesky
Lil Frosh weighing in a fiery verse and you can barely point out a fault from these two youngsters on Who Knows.
Dayo Chino and Naira Marley – PumPum (Remix)
With his Husky flow, Naira Marley brought the sparks on this Dayo Chino track.
It was all about Naira Marley as he owned the track but the thumping drums and underlying melodies were also great here. Who got the keys here. Naira Marley definitely.
Patoranking and Davido – Confirm
While it’s surprising this track didn’t get the expected buzz, time and again the synergy between Patoranking and Davido is strong, urgent and rewarding as on “Confam” they both brought their A game and combined well on the dancehall themed track.
Falz and Demmie Vee – Hypocrite
The bubble of Sess production is evident here as it makes availability for the delightful hook by DemmieVee.
Hypocrite is obviously the standout track from Falz’ album which dropped earlier this year.
Falz smooth, rap-talk delivery combined well with Demmie Vee‘s hook and look what we have, a hit.
